Mom-Daughter Family Comedy

Mother-daughter relationships and fertile grounds for a TV drama (looking at you Gilmore Girls and One Day At A Time), now Korean broadcaster, ENA’s new drama “Not Others” puts a decidedly Korean perspective on this complicated relationship. When a teen mom discovers she is pregnant, her life is thrown into chaos. Things only get more complicated when she decides to keep her baby in a society where single motherhood is still viewed negatively. Mother and daughter literally grow up together. Now mom in her forties and her twenty-something daughter navigate life and love, career, and their interdependence. Still living together, the pair struggles to find balance and create their own identities as independent women. Things only get more complicated when a mysterious man and romance enter the picture.
